Hydrosoft Limited was founded in 2019 by Dr. Shen Zhong during his Ph.D where he published more than 10 research papers in top journals and conferences including Soft Robotics, IEEE, RCAR etc. The company focuses on developing underwater manipulators for Inspection-class ROVs as well as building platforms for marine exploration.
The company also secured 2 US patents. In January, 2020 two memebrs of the team, Dr. Shen Zhong and Mr.Ibnul Alam set a Guinness World Record for "The fastest 50m swim by a robotic fish"
On top of that, Hydrosoft Limited also won multiple competition including HKSTP HK University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, China College Students “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition,
Biomimetic underwater robot Surgical Robotic System for Dental Applications etc.
