
Gardens by the Bay provides a dog-friendly outdoor environment where many Singaporeans spend time with their dogs amidst the greenery.
In this parent-child workshop, find out what dogs need to live a happy and healthy life. Learn about basic dog behaviour and practise appropriate ways of interacting with dogs.
In this workshop, you and your child will learn about:
- Unique body features and adaptations of dogs
- Dietary requirements
- Basic animal behaviour, handling, and how to approach a pet dog in public
Activity highlights include:
- Hands-on experience with using real dog care items (eg: choosing appropriate items and building suitable homes)
- Learning to choose appropriate dog diets by comparing dog foods and ingredients
- Pet dog interaction* and practise reading dog behaviour
